Here you will find an excerpt in English of the rest of the website, highlighting the essential parts, so that you may learn who we are, what we offer, and how, where, and when you can contact us. If you are more comfortable speaking English, please feel free to do so when you call us. While our English may not be perfect, we will do our best. Taking good care of your pet is our top priority, and language proficiency only plays a secondary role.
Location, Contact Information, and Hours
Our address is Mühlenkamp 21a, located behind Mühlenkamp 21, right at the intersection of Gertigstrasse. We have two parking spaces available for our clients. If you are coming by public transportation, the number 6 or number 25 bus will bring you almost to our doorstep. We offer consultations Monday through Friday from 10:00 to 12:00, and on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 16:00 to 18:00 by appointment.
You may also visit us on Monday and Wednesday from 16:30 to 18:30 without an appointment, where you can simply wait your turn. Please note that for certain conditions, it is not only advisable to have an appointment, but it may also be necessary to prepare beforehand. For example, you might need to bring a stool or urine sample, or it might be necessary for your pet to arrive on an empty stomach. We can advise you on any such preparations if you call us before your visit.

You may also contact us by email, but please note that we generally only read and respond to emails before opening between 9:00 and 9:30, and again between 15:30 and 16:00, just before our afternoon hours. Emails are read only by the assistants, not by the doctor. In urgent cases, it is preferable to call. In an emergency, and outside of our normal operating hours, you can reach the Veterinary Emergency Service of the Hamburg Veterinarian Association at 040 43 43 79.

Our Practice
We are located right on a canal in a quiet area that is conducive to healing. The proximity to nature, with geese and ducks on the canal, creates a soothing atmosphere. Each member of our team makes every effort to establish the necessary trust and confidence with both the pet and the owner, which is essential to facilitate examinations and treatments. The design of our office is also geared toward providing maximum comfort and ease for both pet and owner, taking into account the different needs of various types of animals.
Our Services
The services we offer span the entire range of general care (e.g., diet consultation, dental care, or claw clipping), preventive care (e.g., vaccinations or microchips for tracking), and treatment. We are equipped with the latest medical devices to provide optimal care for your pet in diagnosis, treatment, and surgery. We have extensive experience in internal medicine, ear-nose-throat issues, dermatology, dental medicine, and genital surgery. Additionally, we have a well-stocked in-house pharmacy.
